Adapted from the classic film we all know by Fairfield native, Joe Landry: It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play premiered in 1996 at Stamford Center for the Arts, and has since been produced around the country. This unique take on the beloved, heartwarming story of George Bailey and the granting of his bleak and desperate Christmas wish by his guardian angel, Clarence Oddbody, with an eye-opening glimpse into the "What If"

The play shifts the action from the silver screen to the WBFR Playhouse Of The Air broadcast on Christmas Eve 1946. This year the live, coast to coast broadcast is being done from Bridgeport's historic Bijou Theatre. There, five actors are at their mics, broadcasting The WBFR in front of a live audience, performing as dozens of characters, accompanied on stage by live sound effects.

We are looking for actors with good comedic timing, a wide array of voices/accents, and who are comfortable with improv.

Since the actors hold their scripts on stage during performances, rehearsal schedules will be light.
